Spring time vintage

Here are some vases/candle holders I covered with Stampin' Up paper. I add a little ribbon to set it off. I think they turned out simple but elegant! I can't wait to put some fresh flowers in them! I have been working hard on my swaps for Saturday and just took a quick break to do these! All for now........

Card swap

Well just wanted to update everyone...I have been busy creating for the upcoming "Shoe Box" card swap. This is where you create a card for everyone to put together using all the elements that fit into a shoebox. You then trade shoe boxes with everyone until all have completed the swaps! Shelly May (a demo I met at Branson Regionals) is hosting and I am super excited to participate! I can't show you my creation yet.....but will post it and share some of the others after the event! This is one of the perks of being a demo...sharing card swaps and meeting new friends! I LOVE STAMPIN UP! Well all for now.....Blessings

One person CAN make a difference

I am hosting a card party in 30 days......not your ordinary party....we are going to make cards for soldiers to send home. A nonprofit organization called "Operation Write Home" distributes the cards to deployed soldiers to send home to love ones. I have a ton of papers inks and stamps from my mom and I have been praying about what to do with them. Then I found this website and I thought what a perfect way to give back. My mom taught me the love for card making she would be proud her stuff is going to used for soldiers. So if your interested check out the website http://www.operationwritehome.org/ one person can make a difference! I will keep posting our progress and pics. Today my 18 year old son agreed to help each week with the project too! God really does work in mysterious ways!

Be Blessed
